Greece Advances, Olympic Qualifying Water Polo, Defeating Canada Kinsmen.

Alas, the burly Greek players, many of whom looked much larger, older and more experienced than the Canadian water polo boys will be playing in the Olympics. The Canadia team put forth a good effort and the match was close until later in the 3rd and 4th 8-minute periods. Canada’s water polo Olympic hopes were dashed.

The games were played at the Kinsmen Sports Center in Edmonton. The tournament continues until April 8, 2012.
